Marina De Carlo, een jonge kunstenares uit Terracina (niet ver van Rome), is een autodidact die voortdurend op zoek is naar verwondering en innerlijke rust die zij radicaal in haar werken doorvoert. Na een verschrikkelijke persoonlijke ervaring is zijn artistieke poëtica herboren en heeft hij de kenmerken verworven die zijn stijl geliefd maken in Italië, waar zijn belangrijkste verzamelaars verblijven. Vanuit de noodzaak om haar werken voor iedereen waarneembaar te maken, niet alleen visueel maar ook tactiel, geeft Marina De Carlo leven aan natuurlijke driedimensionale zeegezichten die positieve emoties overbrengen: dankzij het voortdurend experimenteren met verschillende materialen zoals cement, hars en gestabiliseerde mossen, die de natuurlijke kleur en geur onveranderd laten, speelt de kunstenares verstandig met de helderheid en de diepte van de zee die het symbool wordt van de menselijke ziel.
De kunst van Marina De Carlo kan dus worden omschreven als materieel, symbolisch, conceptueel en luchtig.

Marina De Carlo, a young artist from Terracina (not far from Rome), is a self-taught artist in constant search of wonder and inner peace, which she radically infuses into her works. After a terrible personal experience, her artistic poetics has been reborn and has acquired the characteristics that make her style loved in Italy, where her major collectors reside. From the need to make her works perceived by everyone, not only visually but also tactilely, Marina De Carlo gives life to three-dimensional natural seascapes that convey positive emotions: thanks to her continuous experimentation with different materials such as cement, resin and stabilised mosses, which maintain their natural colour and scent, the artist skilfully plays with the brightness and depth of the sea, which becomes a symbol of the human soul.
Marina De Carlo’s art can thus be defined as material, symbolic, conceptual and aerial.
